  Exercise

It is a sad fact that as person ages, their metabolic rate slows down – resulting to weight gain. Along with weight gain are other signs of aging such as lack of energy, drowsiness, slowness, and of course, the various health issues that come with old age. Fortunately, regular exercises can take care of all of those – allowing you to maintain a body weight that falls within the normal range. No need for heavy exercises – simple runs and walks at least 3 times a day would do fine. You’ll find that routine workouts will also help your energy levels and give you the kind of stamina usually relished by 20-year-olds.

  Tone the Muscles

Lifting moderately heavy weights is a good idea to delay aging. This is because as a person ages, they need more developed muscles to retain the shape of the body. Weight training can also be replaced by targeted exercises that help improve muscle tone. You’ll find that this provides you with a more defined and youthful looking body.

  Sleep

Well It is often said that the young fight sleep while the old relish it – but you definitely know better. Sleep is your body’s recharging station, giving you the chance to reproduce new cells, heal tears, and essentially repair the body to make it almost as good as new in the morning. Make sure you get full 8-hours sleep every night to keep your body active and your cells productive.
